Gavin Creel won a Tony Award for his performance as Cornelius Hackl in the acclaimed Broadway revival of 鈥淗ello, Dolly!鈥, starring Bette Midler. He made his Broadway debut in 鈥淭horoughly Modern Millie" (Tony nomination) and went on to star in the Broadway productions of 鈥淟a Cage aux Folles,鈥 鈥淗air鈥 (Tony nomination), 鈥淭he Book of Mormon,鈥 鈥淪he Loves Me,鈥 鈥淲aitress,鈥 and 鈥淚nto the Woods.鈥 He received an Olivier Award for his portrayal of Elder Price in the London production of 鈥淭he Book of Mormon鈥 and appeared on the West End in 鈥淢ary Poppins,鈥 鈥淗air,鈥 and 鈥淲aitress.鈥 On television, Creel performed a solo PBS concert special with 鈥淪tars on Stage,鈥 starred in the premiere episodes of Ryan Murphy's anthology series 鈥淎merican Horror Stories,鈥 and charmed audiences as Bill alongside Julie Andrews in 鈥淓loise at the Plaza鈥 and 鈥淓loise at Christmastime.鈥 He is currently at work on a new music theatre piece entitled 鈥淲alk on Through: Confessions of a Museum Novice,鈥 inspired by the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.听
