Family Weekend 2023

Friday, Oct. 6 - Sunday, Oct. 8

Family Weekend celebrates our �ܼ��ˮ��̳ families near and far. We'll offer a full line-up of exciting family-friendly activities, including a comedy show, tailgates, a carnival, our annual bonfire, and more! We look forward to showing our Laker families why Hurst really is Home!

Friday, Oct. 6	8:15 to 9:30 p.m.	Homecoming Bonfire (Free! No tickets necessary.)	Join the Campus Involvement Center for a Bonfire behind Old Main.
��	9:15 p.m.	MAC/SAC Presents: Contortionist Comedian Jonathan Burns (Free, but please register for a ticket.)	MAC/SAC presents Jonathan Burns who will amaze us with his contortionist comedy act! ��
Saturday, Oct. 7	Noon to 2 p.m.	Family Weekend Homecoming Tailgate (Pay at the door.)	Join us for a tailgate in Grotto Commons as we get ready to cheer on our �ܼ��ˮ��̳ Football team. This event is free for �ܼ��ˮ��̳ students with meal plans and costs $7 per adult, $5 per child under 10, and is free for children 3 and under.
��	2 p.m.	Homecoming Football Game (Tickets needed.)	Cheer on the �ܼ��ˮ��̳ Football team as they take on Edinboro University in Saxon Stadium. This event is free for �ܼ��ˮ��̳ students and costs $10 per person for non-�ܼ��ˮ��̳ students.
��	2:30 to 4:30 p.m.	Homecoming Family Weekend Carnival (Free! No tickets necessary.)	Join MSG and MAC/SAC for inflatables, carnival games, and snacks!
��	7:05 p.m.	Hockey Game vs. Ohio State at �ܼ��ˮ��̳ Ice Center (Tickets needed, walk-up tickets may be available.)	Join us as the �ܼ��ˮ��̳ Hockey team takes on Ohio State. Tickets are free for �ܼ��ˮ��̳ students and cost $10 per person for non-�ܼ��ˮ��̳ students.
Sunday, Oct. 8	7 a.m. to 1 p.m.	Sunday Brunch (Pay at the door.)	Join us in Grotto Commons for Sunday Brunch. This event is free for �ܼ��ˮ��̳ students and costs $7 per adult, $5 per child under 10, and is free for children 3 and under.
